Central London urgently needs a larger skilled workforce to decarbonise its commercial buildings, and 51 senior leaders from across the built environment have been elected to join the City of London Corporation’s Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Task Force to identify and bridge existing skill gaps.

In a three-year project led by the City of London Corporation, Mina Hasman of Climate Framework and others in the Task Force will collaborate to boost the supply of skilled workers for sustainable buildings. They will liaise with employers, training providers and industry bodies from across the commercial built environment sector, as well as national and local government to accelerate the City’s decarbonisation at scale.
